All entries in this department will be accepted on Saturday, August 2, 2007 from 11:00 a.m. till 4:00 p.m. 

Extracted honey is to be exhibited in a classic or queen line one pound glass jar (unlabeled).

Comb honey is to be exhibited in a wide mouth pint canning jar (unlabeled).

Frames of honey must be in a sanitary (leak proof), bee-proof container.

Honey with a moisture content greater than 18.6% will be disqualified.

Candles made of beeswax should be a minimum length of 4 inches. Other beeswax articles must weight one pound or more.

All honey and beeswax must have been produced and packed by the exhibitor during the current fair year.

An observation hive must have standard frames, a marked queen, and must be well ventilated.

All premium checks void after sixty (60) days.

In order to promote interest in all honey classes (Dept. M Classes 1 - 5) a special rosette will be offered to the exhibitor who accumulates the most points ($=points) in the honey show. There will be a first, second and third place for the rosette of $50.00, $30.00 and $20.00.
