Honey and Molasses (Sorghum) Show

All entries in this
department will be accepted on Saturday, August 6, 2011 from 1:00 p.m. till 4:30
p.m.
Extracted honey is to be exhibited in a classic or queen line one pound
glass jar (unlabeled).
Comb honey is to be exhibited in a wide mouth pint canning jar (unlabeled).
Frames of honey must be in a sanitary (leak proof), bee-proof container.
Honey with a moisture content greater than 18.6% will be disqualified.
Candles made of beeswax should be a minimum length of 4 inches. Other
beeswax articles must weight one pound or more.
All honey and beeswax must have been produced and packed by the exhibitor
during the current fair year.
An observation hive must have standard frames, a marked queen, and must be
well ventilated.
All premium checks void after sixty (60) days.
